Why Healing Edge

Effective Solutions. Elevated Care.

Our expert bedside treatment and coordinated care planning help lower hospital readmission rates and drive better outcomes for patients. We streamline operations for facilities by using formulary-approved dressings and offering an efficient Dressing Dispensing Program. All documentation is Medicare-compliant and completed the same day. In nursing home settings, we provide care to all patients—regardless of financial background—with services billable through insurance. Our proactive approach is designed to help prevent amputations, sepsis, hospital stays, and readmissions, while improving patients’ quality of life.

Retention & Occupancy

The post-discharge care we provide—including bedside procedures—helps lower hospital readmission rates and supports better wound healing outcomes.

Save Time & Resources

We utilize dressings already approved within your facility’s formulary, so there’s no added cost. Dressings are also available through our Dressing Dispensing Program, if needed.

Documentation

Reports are added to the chart the same day. Both EMR and paper documentation are consistently updated to meet current Medicare requirements.

Education

Our providers conduct bedside rounds alongside treatment nurses and deliver individualized care plans. We offer both in-person and virtual education options to fit your team’s needs.

Amputation Prevention

We care for all types of wounds. For lower extremity wounds, every patient is assessed for vascular issues and enrolled in our Amputation Prevention program when appropriate.

No Patient Left Behind

In nursing home settings, we treat all patients—regardless of financial status. All services are billed under physician services.
